"Hiccup? Hiccup where are you?" The man in question ducked behind a building, ignoring the look of one of the villagers walking by. Tuff's voice faded off into the distance, the taller Viking wandering off to find his boyfriend.
"What are you doing?"
"SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." Hiccup hissed frantically, grabbing Astrid's arm and pulling her down so they were crouching in the bushes. "Tuff's being weird, so I'm hiding until he stops being a fishwife."
"Fishwife?" Astrid raised an eyebrow, confusion written across her features.
"There you are. Why aren't you wearing your vest? It's cold out, in fact you shouldn't even be outside cause it lo
"I can't believe it took three years to convince you to move in with me."
"Yes mother."
"Oh, got some mommy kink now?"
"Oh ew, shut up Hiccup."
The brunette rolled his eyes and taped up another box, the screech of the packing tape all the more enjoyable when he knew his boyfriend had finally been beaten into submission and had realized that the only viable option was to move in with Hiccup.
"Seriously though, we've been together for going on seven years."
"Yeah, well, I didn't want to jynx anything by moving too quickly."
"I know snails that move faster then you." Hiccup muttered under his breath, taping up another box and pushing it
I've had the grasshopper incident happen to me. Stupid cat.

"Hiccup....you've got-"
"A cloud of Terrors following me?"
"Uhhh...yeah." Gobber scratched at his head, wondering if the smallish dragons would stay outside, or attempt to follow Hiccup into the smithy. He didn't have to wonder for long, most of the Terrors crawling up into the roof beams, only a few vying to stay below with Hiccup, twining around his feet and mewling for attention.
"Why are they following ye?"
"I wish I knew. I keep waking up with half eaten things on my pillow."
"Things?"
"Mice, fish heads, bird wings."
"Sounds like ye might have a way with Te
Hiccup glanced over at the candle burning beside him and winced. The notches etched into the wax told the hour, and at the moment he was late. Late for a meeting with his father and his peer group and the newest generation of Dragon Riders.
Anyone could ride a dragon, but being Vikings, there needed to be some sort of pomp and circumstance ceremony. Stoick had decided it, and Stoick's word was law.
Rubbing at his eyes, Hiccup put down the charcoal stick, pushed back the new designs for Toothless' tail fan he'd been working on, and stood. Wincing at the tingles his left leg gave. The prosthesis always gave him trouble when he sat for to
Hiccup scowled, wrestling with the lacing for his new saddle. His old one, resting against a wall in the corner was falling apart from years of riding and though it was hard to retire, he didn't quite trust it any more. It just wasn't safe with how he and Toothless loved to fly, and if it came apart while he was still on it, well, that's why he was making a new one.
The leather on the far end of the saddle began to curl up again, the clamp having fallen off a few moments earlier.
"Oden give me strength." Hiccup muttered, reaching down to grab the small piece of metal lying on the floor, he sat up, wrestled the clasp into place and prompt

Hiccup scowled, rubbing at his right arm, still sore from Astrid's punching. Apparently she thought it was a cute thing to do, to prove she was strong. But all it did was make Hiccup's arm ache, and he really didn't need the extra body pains, what with his missing limb and all.
He wandered aimlessly through the village, past the bakers, grabbing a sticky bun on the way down to the beach, where Toothless loved to roll around in the sand and dig up clams and hermit crabs. Apparently dragon's loved seafood, though he shouldn't have been surprised with Toothless' love for fish.
Usually the beach was empty, save for T
